When students are absent for any reason, parents must contact the office to inform us of the absence and reason. The following are ways in which you can record your child's absence:
- Calling through to the school number, 5498 0666, and leaving a message or speaking to someone.
- Emailing admin@bellmeress.eq.edu.au
- Logging the absence through QParents (this will help to streamline the process on our end too)
If you do not contact the office to report an absence, a follow up text message will be sent. Unexplained absences will be considered as unauthorised absences and will count towards a penalty absence on your child's record.
