Bellmere State School's BYO Journey
Since the beginning, Bellmere SS has welcomed iPads from home into the school through the BYO-iPad program. Families are encouraged to send an iPad to school with their child every day. Teachers use iPads in the classroom to enhance the learning that occurs and provide opportunities for our students to participate in the digital world.

BYO iPad Handbook
The 2027 Bellmere State School BYO iPad Handbook will be sent home in early Term 4, 2026. Below are key points from the Handbook to help you get your child's iPad ready for school in 2027.

- Recommended iPad Specifications & Accessories
- Strategies for Managing iPads at Home and School
- Important Documents that need to be returned to your classroom teacher.
BYO iPad Apps
At Bellmere State School, we use iPads across different curriculum areas and in different ways. To streamline the yearly setup process for parents, we are offering a new way to setup your child's iPad. The only app you will need to install before the start of school is Intune Company Portal.
Company Portal allows Bellmere SS to provide WiFi connectivity and a curated list of apps to your child's iPad. Each year this list will be updated and students can download these apps with their teachers when they need it.
If you prefer to download the apps individually, please reach out to byod@bellmeress.eq.edu.au and we can provide you with the most up-to-date App List for your child's year level.

If you have difficulty meeting the costs involved in this program, please contact your student's classroom teacher to discuss the matter. As a public school we are committed to ensuring every child has access to a device regardless of the family's financial position.
